Coby Whitmore's illustration in February 1955 Good Housekeeping accompanied Garson Kanin's short story "A Day at a Time," which was promoted for an MGM film adaptation that never materialized.

The “A Day at a Time” short story was promoted on the cover of the magazine, stating that it was soon to be a movie. The story was sold to MGM, but to my knowledge was never made as a movie.

Author Garson Kanin was a busy Hollywood writer, director, and actor. His accomplishments were many.
