This Coby Whitmore illustration appeared in the February 1955 edition of Good Housekeeping magazine. Whitmore was a busy illustrator with many magazine illustration credits. The illustration accompanied a short story titled A Day at a Time written by Garson Kanin.
The “A Day at a Time” short story was promoted on the cover of the magazine, stating that it was soon to be a movie. The story was sold to MGM, but to my knowledge was never made as a movie.
Author Garson Kanin was a busy Hollywood writer, director, and actor. His accomplishments were many.
