Photo shows a mom handing ice cream to little girls in crisp cotton dresses and little boys in wool shorts. If you look closely, you will see a birthday cake in the background. Shall we assume that the kiddos waiting in line are snazzily dressed because they are guests at a birthday party? Perhaps they just finished a round of pin the tail on the donkey. Let’s see . . . the posing children are now 53 years older. Now instead of birthday parties, they are celebrating at retirement parties. Time flies.
