Travel bureaus would frequently advertise in mid-century magazines, but they were generally 1/4 page ads that appeared towards the back of the magazine. This one is different. It covered a full page in the June 1964 Bride & Home magazine. The ad was from the Canadian Travel Bureau advertising the classic honeymoon destination of Niagara Falls.

It seems odd to our 21st century minds that to receive information, you would have to clip out a form, fill it out, put it in an envelope, add a stamp, and drop it in the mailbox. It also seems odd that the letter would simply be addressed to the Canadian Government Travel Bureau Ottawa Canada. No address or zip code.
Honeymooners dream on the rocks below Niagara Falls, Canada
I do love the simplicity of the ad. I hope it attracted a lot of mid-century lovers who enjoyed the wonderful destination of Canada.
