Nostalgic Mother-Daughter Nose Kiss for Max Factor

Mid-century magazines prominently featured mothers and children, exemplified by Max Factor's 1959 makeup advertisement.

One thing is certain. Mid-century magazines loved to feature photos of mothers and children. Be it ads, articles, or short story illustrations, images of moms and kids were frequently shown in 1950s and 1960s magazines.

Max Factor took advantage of this trend with this makeup ad from 1963.

Mom and Daughter – Max Factor Ad – McCalls March 1959

The above ad for Max Factor was found on the pages of the March 1959 edition of McCalls magazine. It features an adorable nose-kiss between mother and daughter. The ad is for the brand’s line of hi-fi fluid makeup.

For you . . . a little girl complexion . . . because this is the most natural-looking make-up of them all.
