1962 Decorator Colors

A look at home decor trends from the 1960's.

Apparently 1962 was a colorful year for home decor. Case in point. This room from New York interior designer C Eugene Stephenson who recommends “colors for walls and fabrics correlated to your floor coloring with furniture and accessories in traditional, period, or contemporary styles”.  By the way, what’s the name of the wall color? Blue. Yup. Just blue. I guess Glidden didn’t believe in colorful color names at the time.
