We continue our “28 Days of Love” series with an article written by Joan Benny, daughter of the late mid-century icon Jack Benny. It tells the story of the special love between a daughter and father.

The comic was a bit before my time, but the name Jack Benny was still a household word in the 1960’s. At the time of the article, Jack was almost 70, and daughter Joan was 29. Joan worked as an actress, but was mainly known as the daughter of Jack Benny. She passed away last year.
