1959 Six Dollar Gloves

Great fashion illustration for a glove ad from the October 1959 edition of Vogue magazine.

It doesn’t actually say what these long gloves are made of.  The beaded beauties were described as being “Leather-tailored  of Wonder-fabric”.   Whatever. The six dollar price tag allowed this red lipstick-wearing high society woman to buy a red turban and a white fur.  Love that the only thing detailed in this ad is the gloves.  Published in October 1959 Vogue.
