This ad appeared appeared in the September 1960 issue of Mademoiselle magazine.  The dress is described as:

A slim fitted bodice all cotton velveteen that melts into the shaped all silk skirt bowed and banded with velvet.

The dress was available at Bonwit Teller,JL Hudson, Kaufmann’s, Marston’s, and Lanz on Whilshire Blvd. It sold for $49.95.
